GENERAL PROGRAM AND GUIDELINES FOR EXHIBITION

Kulay-Diwa Gallery of Philippine Contemporary Art is a privately owned venue for artistic expression. Inaugurated on February 7, Kulay-Diwa is strategically located within a cluster of progressive communities South of Manila: BF Homes, Greenheights Subdivision, Better Living, San Antonio Valley, Ayala-Alabang, Alabang Hills, etc.  It has an independent exhibition area able to accommodate large-scale works, and a spacious garden ideal for outdoor programs, performances and sculpture installations.

Goals of Kulay-Diwa

• To discover and promote the works of  talented, young and deserving Filipino Artists;
• To serve as a cultural outpost and make the arts more accessible to the fast-growing communities South of Manila; and
• To foster cultural interaction and exchanges with the local regions and other countries.

Kulay-Diwa offers the following Programs geared towards the achievements of its goals;

• General Exhibition Program for Young Artists.
• Middle Established Artists Program (by invitation).
• Regional Artists Program.
• Works-on-consignment Program.

Additional information is available upon request.

Exhibition Proposals may be submitted any time during the year and applicants will be notified  by email of the result within six weeks upon receipt of the application.

Application requirements include most recent portfolio of artist/s and proposal or concept paper describing the proposed exhibit.

Portfolio Submission Requirements:

• At least 5-15 images of your artwork (past and present).
• File name of images must include: name, artwork title, medium, dimensions, year
• Images must be jpeg, smaller than 5MB
• Cover letter (letter of intent)
  
• Your biography
• Your profile picture
• Short statement about yourself, your artwork (artist statement), and your goals

CD SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, ALL DIGITAL MATERIAL MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE

Applicants will be notified  by email of the result within six weeks upon receipt of the application.

Only Artists with an available body of work will be considered.
